Maru-a-Pula is one of Africa’s leading schools. The school uses the yearbook as an effective marketing tool to promote Maru-a-Pula to a wider audience.
I felt it was important to maintain a consistency to the previous yearbook, so as to keep the sense of a school brand. Once again the objective was to capture images of the students in a variety of situations to show the range of activities available, as well as the multi-cultural and positive atmosphere Maru-a-Pula provides. I decided to encapsulate those images in the style of a photo album scrapbook, giving the sense of personalisation, as though it was created by the pupils.
